Kaytech

Kaytech writes a Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP) and obtains customer approval for all repetitive jobs. As well as providing illustrated instructions for the operators, the plan includes a “Quality Assessment” document that travels with the job during the process. This “traveler” requires identification of the operator, identification of each individual part by serial number and/or position number and requires a record of any defects found prior to and subsequent to performing the specified operations. Traceability for the customer, and for Kaytech, is ensured by inclusion of the customer’s job number and Kaytech’s internal tracking number. Kaytech is old fashioned when it comes to quality. We conduct and record on the “Quality Assessment” 100% final inspection by a member of management. The customer is offered a copy of this document with every job.
